This truly was one of the best experiences I have had in my life!! Dodi Darrow than you for an amazing retreat, filled with so much gratitude. I went into this with zero expectations, mainly because sitting with my feelings for too long gives me anxiety. But this experience was a bunch of women from different upbringings, different lifestyles, different interests all for the same reasons. Something was missing. And whether we are still searching or not you so gracefully showed us all how to love ourselves more. I can only speak for myself but I have to say I left that retreat different. Different in a good way. It was eye opening and I am so glad I got to be a part of it!

She ran a fitness and retreat business in Colorado for 9 years before returning to eastern NC. She has facilitated numerous wellness education circles and Intuitive Eating group courses. Dodi teaches yoga, leads guided meditation, and strength training classes. Dodi believes in continually adding more tools to her toolbox, and preaches to “simplify” your wellness. She believes if it’s confusing or too difficult, RUN! She makes wellness fun, easy and playful, and accessible for everyone, and cares about women's physical, mental and emotional wellness journey.

“… Your dedication to me is the major reason I have been able to stick to it. Physically, I used to struggle with back pain and neck pain and overall fatigue…. Since strengthening my body, I only feel the “good sore” from a hard workout. …it has also given me a confidence I never had. I have always hidden my body in my bathing suit, or behind a long dress and now I feel good and strong and not embarrassed or ashamed…”

— Megan O.

“… I have never been one to workout prior to working with Dodi. Didn’t know how to change. Didn’t care. Just wanted to be skinny and torture myself over the scale and enjoy a life of destructive eating habits. … I was lost and intimidated. When I found Dodi everything was different. I feel strong for the first time ever, and it has been an incredible blessing. You have changed the way I see wellness and the way I see myself. I am so grateful...”

— Colleen T.

“…you are a huge reason I was able to build my confidence again. My self-worth was at an all-time low when I started working with you. You changed my body, my mindset, and without sounding horribly cheesy, my life, and for that I am beyond grateful… I know you’ll do the same for many women to come. But really, you had me at “You can still eat pizza if you want!””
